Technical solution for climate change in the city

The JUMBO BLOCK^®system offers an innovative and sustainable solution for dealing with extreme weather events in urban areas. It stores up to 13.9 m³ of water per module directly under load-bearing, sealed surfaces – without taking up additional space. This relieves the sewer system during heavy rainfall and also serves as a reserve during dry periods. Thanks to its modular design and high load capacity, it can be flexibly integrated into existing infrastructures. This creates an effective buffer and storage system under our feet that makes cities more climate-resilient.

The JUMBO BLOCK^® system places high demands on the sealing of the modules. Only with a reliable, flexible and durable sealant can the function and tightness of the modular construction be permanently guaranteed. Together with JUMBO BLOCK^®, we are carrying out extensive tests to find out which of our high-performance products is best suited to this innovative system.
