Power conversion systems are critical for transforming and controlling electrical energy in applications such as inverters, converters, and power electronics. These systems require advanced materials to manage heat, ensure electrical reliability, and protect components under high power densities and demanding operating conditions.

In power conversion systems, Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) and adhesives & sealants play a key role in the performance and reliability of inverter and converter systems including their IGBT and SiC MOSFET modules, as well as busbar assemblies. TIMs provide high thermal conductivity and low interfacial resistance to efficiently dissipate heat from power semiconductors to cooling systems. Adhesives and sealants ensure mechanical fixation, electrical insulation, and protection of modules and busbars, operating under high voltage and thermal loads against thermal cycling, vibration, and environmental exposure.
